Project Snapshot
Ferguson Computers was approached by a local government agency to build a new website. Their existing site was outdated, difficult to navigate, and not mobile-friendly. They wanted a new website that would be more accessible and user-friendly to all website visitors.
Our Solution
Our team worked closely with the city officials to understand their needs and requirements for the new site. We focused on creating a mobile-responsive and accessible website that could easily host and showcase important documents like city ordinances. We also built a calendar feature that allows the city to easily announce and promote important events like city council meetings, food drives, and other community events.
To help the community and its residents access critical information, we made sure to include pages with comprehensive details about elected officials, city departments, and resources available. This included links to resources for permits, licenses, and important government forms.
The final website we delivered to our client was a visually-appealing, easy-to-navigate, and mobile-friendly platform that met all of the agency’s needs. The new website has made it easier for the community to stay up-to-date on important information and connect with their elected officials and city departments. Overall, the new website has had a positive impact on the community and has helped to increase engagement with the local government.
